Labor Day Happenings around Marin

You don’t have to cross the bridges this weekend to enjoy great Labor Day festivities. Here are some of the happenings are Marin:
Belvedere-Tiburon
The third annual Labor Day Parade begins at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in downtown Tiburon and follow a parade route including Tiburon Boulevard, Main Street, Beach Road and San Rafael Avenue. The parade will conclude at Belvedere Community Park at 450 San Rafael Ave. and be followed by a free concert.
Mill Valley

Soccerfest- The Mill Valley Soccer Club will be holding their annual soccerfest on Monday, September 3 from 12-6 at the Mill Valley Community Center. This year’s SoccerFest will include the Creedman Cup 4 vs. 4 soccer tournament, hands-on skills and drills obstacle course, a “Fun Zone” for the little ones, food, music, entertainment and much more.
Homestead Valley Music Festival- This is a free event on Sunday, September 2 at 315 Montford Avenue, adjacent to the Homestead Valley Community Center. The event runs from 11:00 am-5:30 pm. Music lineup schedule:
- 11:30 am The Jazz Mavericks
- 12:30 pm Swing Fever,
- 1:45 pm Crunchy Frog
- 3:00 pm The Liddypuddlians.
Sausalito
The Sausalito Art Festival returns for its 55th year! Art, music, food, dancing and more make this event a hit year after year.
West Marin
The West Marin Wild Art Show in Pt. Reyes concludes this weekend. For more info, visit eacmarin.org
