San Anselmo is located in Marin County, California. The charming town is located approximately 20 miles north of San Francisco in the Ross Valley. The small town covers a land area of 2.7 miles. San Anselmo has a quaint downtown area known for its antique shops, boutiques and restaurants. San Anselmo was incorporated on April 9, 1907. The town’s population at the 2000 census was 12,378.
