For the camps at Dominican, they put the kids into the pool once a day for an hour. They have a gorgeous pool. We ended up becoming members of their pool. It is also nice to hear about the Marinwood camps.

Thanks for the great tips. So many of the camps are very high priced. It is nice to see some reasonable options. I know Marinwood has a great pool as well!

My son and daughter both have gone to the Marinwood Summer Camps in San Rafael for the past two years and I have been super impressed. They have the most caring staff, it’s affordable, and it’s by far the best “traditional” camp in Marin. I will also be sending both to Steve and Kate’s for a week or so but they love the staff at Marinwood and it’s a lot cheaper!

Hi all,

I’m signing my kids up for summer camp at Dominican University. I sent my little boy and girl (ages 7 and 9) to the soccer and volleyball camps there last year. The camp is perfect for my work schedule because they are at camp from 9 to 4. I posted the link to the website below. My kids loved the Dominican camps and I will be sending them there again.
